1. CAN I RETROFIT THE SLIMLINE TRIM TO MY EXISTING FIREPLACES? 
Yes you can, provided the plaster around the unit can be removed and the unit can be pushed back 20mm. 

2. WILL IT SUIT MK1 APPLIANCES? 
No, you cannot use the slimline trim on MK1 appliance as they are designed specifically for MK2. 

3. CAN I INSTALL WITHOUT THE FLANGE KIT? 
No, the trim can only be installed with the flange kit. 

4. CAN I INSTALL THE SLIMLINE TRIM IF I HAVE 18MM TRIM FLANGE ALREADY ATTACHED TO THE UNIT? 
The slimline trim must always be installed with the flange kit provided with the accessory. It cannot be installed with the 18mm flange kit. 

5. WHAT CLADDING MATERIAL CAN I USE? 
Any temperature rated cladding material can be used. 

6. HOW DO I ACCESS THE INSIDE OF THE APPLIANCE FOR SERVICEABILITY? 
Access for service is the same way as an 18mm trim. The trim comes out the same way as an 18mm trim and then the inside glass can be removed by removing the screws on each side. 

7. HOW IS THE UNIT TRIM HELD IN PLACE? 
Same way as an 18mm trim. It has 2 screws on either side of the trim. 

8. WHAT’S THE TRIM FINISH AND COLOUR? 
The trim is finished with High temperature Senotherm metallic black paint. 

9. CAN I PAINT THE FLANGE KIT? 
Yes, the flange kit can be painted to match your cladding material.
